Dorian Regenerates Into Tropical Depression

Dorian resurfaced 85 miles east of Florida early Saturday morning as a tropical depression with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour, moving north, then northeast throughout Saturday at a steady 6 miles per hour. 

Dorian was not expected to move so quickly away from the coast, however maintained away from land as forecasters expected. Tropical Depression Dorian continued to weaken throughout Saturday becoming a post-tropical cyclone by Saturday evening just 160 miles east south east of Charleston, South Carolina with maximum sustained winds of 30 miles per hour. 

Late Saturday, Dorian was moving northeast at 16 miles per hour. No coastal or land warnings were placed for Dorian. Post-Tropical Cyclone Dorian is expected to completely dissipate by Sunday morning.
